Terms of Service

Last updated: 21 July 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of getdraftspark.com and the DraftSpark writing service. By creating an account or using DraftSpark, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 and able to enter into a binding agreement. Provide accurate information, keep your sign-in credentials secure and promptly tell us if your account may be compromised. You are responsible for activity through your account.

2. The service

DraftSpark provides writing, analysis, scoring, rewriting, document-management and related tools. We may improve, add, remove or change features. We use reasonable care in providing the service but do not promise every feature will always be available or uninterrupted.

3. AI-assisted results

AI output may be incomplete, inaccurate, unsuitable or similar to material generated for others. You are responsible for reviewing results, checking important facts and deciding whether and how to use them. DraftSpark does not provide legal, medical, financial or other professional advice.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, copy, process, transmit and display it only as reasonably necessary to provide, secure and improve the service, comply with law and enforce these Terms. You confirm you have the rights needed to submit and use your content.

5. Acceptable use

You must not use DraftSpark unlawfully or harmfully; infringe intellectual-property, privacy or other rights; gain unauthorised access; disrupt, overload, scrape or reverse engineer the service except where law permits; introduce malicious code; bypass controls; or create or distribute illegal, deceptive, abusive or harmful material.

6. Subscriptions and payments

Paid features are billed at the price, currency and interval shown at checkout. Stripe processes payments. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before renewal and can be managed through account settings. Except where required by law or stated at purchase, paid fees are non-refundable. Price changes apply no earlier than your next renewal after reasonable notice.

7. Intellectual property and third parties

DraftSpark software, design, branding and service materials belong to us or our licensors. These Terms grant only a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the service. DraftSpark relies on Supabase, Resend, OpenAI, Stripe and Vercel; third-party features may also be governed by their terms and policies.

8. Suspension and termination

You may stop using DraftSpark at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for a material breach, security or legal risk, non-payment or misuse. Where reasonably possible, we will provide notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue.

9. Disclaimers and liability

DraftSpark is provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, we do not warrant uninterrupted, error-free or accurate service. Nothing limits liability that cannot legally be limited. Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability will not exceed the greater of £100 or the amount you paid in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

10. Changes, governing law and contact

We may update these Terms and will publish the revised version here. These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without affecting mandatory rights you have as a consumer where you live. Questions can be sent to support@getdraftspark.com.
